Artists who influenced Ada’s design
Designed by BrightTALK’s Creative Director, Donavan Smandra, Ada was inspired by the work of Keith Haring and Pablo Picasso.

In the 80s, the art of Keith Haring was seen throughout the streets and subways of New York. Haring brought awareness to the masses of the many social and political issues of the time. Everyday Haring’s work touched thousands as they lived and moved through the city.

In 1949, Picasso introduced the world to a series of light drawings which showed shapes and images with one continuous motion. A new and different kind of art that transcended the traditional canvas and had people thinking differently about the definition of art.
Naming Ada
The name Ada was selected by our people after we ran a competition. We were looking for a name that explains how we combine human intelligence and machine intelligence to guide and advance professionals seeking answers to important questions. We love the sound of Ada, it sounds helpful. We love that Ada is a palindrome. We especially love that Ada was the name of the woman who invented computer programming!
Who is Ada?
Ada Lovelace (1815 – 1852) was an English mathematician and writer, chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage’s proposed mechanical general-purpose computer, the Analytical Engine. She was the first to recognise that the machine had applications beyond pure calculation, and created the first algorithm intended to be carried out by such a machine. As a result, she is often regarded as the first to recognise the full potential of a “computing machine” and the first computer programmer.
